Chloe I love the pictures, the more the better. You look like you are having fun in the sun. Spare a thought for us in Canberra as we brave the winter cold (it snowed on Friday).
ReplyDeleteWill do, I'm sorry I can't really say that I miss the Canberra.
ReplyDeleteYour report of your trip to Niigata is great, Chloe. I envy you the opportunity to experience Japan and its culture with y our Japanese family. Some of our best experiences on our travels have been with people who lived in the places we were -- even when we didn't speak the same language! I am looking forward to hearing about school in Japan now. It who'll be very different from when you started there as well as from school in Canberra. Your photos illustrate your story well also. I am having trouble working out which meal is which though.
ReplyDeletethnx Colleen. :) I'll be going to school in a couple of weeks so look out for the posts.
DeleteMe deer Chloe, Please learn to make the Hiroshima version of okonomiyaki before you return. That is the one which looks like a fat pancake crossed with an omelette not the one that looks like two sheets of cardboard with stuff in them. I am gl ad you are enjoying herself. Kieran got cranky because A ustralia lost to New Zealand in the rugby. This from me Fat Paddy not from Nurse Gladys but I do not know how to send it under me own name. Love etc be good and do not drink sake. See yer, Fat Paddy
ReplyDeleteI'll ask Yasuko how to make the Hiroshima Version soon. I can't believe the Aussies lost to the Kiwis. ARRRRRGGGGG!!!!! WHY????? Missing you guy and stay safe. I won't drink any Sake, I don't think they'll serve me :P
